Mile Marker One Restaurant & Bar is a popular boating destination if you are passing through Gloucester. Destination found…Stay, Eat, Drink, Dance, Celebrate, Chill, and Play. Located at the Cape Ann's Marina Resort, a protected calm basin just inside Gloucester Harbor on the Annisquam River. We are a great place to visit for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails, raw bar, or stay the night and enjoy the live outside deck music of the season. Guests are welcome to use the indoor pool (fee may apply) and chill at the Pool Bar while the kids take a swim. Maybe you want to catch a glimpse of our WICKED TUNA boats docked at the marina, or even meet the captains and crews — if you are on our Bridge Deck you can’t miss them. Our waterfront dining areas host not only great views but fresh seafood and a variety of choices for all ages. Lobster rolls, lobster benedict, our bloody Mary bar, salads, chowders, raw bar, and chef specialties. Our marina watering hole is also known for its house specialty drinks, the “Pain Killer”, really cold beer, and of course the “Marina-Rita.” Check out our menus, including take-out options, on our website. Stay overnight in our waterfront hotel rooms, celebrate a wedding or function in our Compass Room or Waterfront Pavilion Tent, fuel up, pump-out, grab some snacks, take out, ice, or let our crew help you with any marine services. We are a premier destination for boaters traveling from the north or south. While we are home to the TV series WICKED TUNA, boats and crews, we are also home for 265 vessels and visiting vessels alike. We have ample transient slips with over 100’ of linear dockage, 50-100-amp power, and a mean low depth over 7 feet. We are close to popular fishing spots like Stellwagen Bank and Jeffrey’s, to name a few, as well as great areas for whale watching too. Maybe it is beaches and cruising you are interested in? Wingersheek Beach and Cranes Beach are very popular for rafting up, using your SUP or dingy to explore our salt marshes and dunes, or sitting back for another sunset. Wondering about the name of our restaurant? Yes, we are located at the beginning of the Intercoastal Waterway, about 1.5 miles from Annisquam Light at the north end of the river.
