Synopsis...A BACK DOOR COLD FRONT WILL PUSH WEST INTO THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND THIS EVENING. THE BOUNDARY IS EXPECTED TO LIFT BACK NORTH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE WATERS BY FRIDAY EVENING. HIGH PRES WILL FOLLOW FOR THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

Tonight: NE wind 5 to 9 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt in the evening. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Areas of fog. Seas around 1 ft.

Wednesday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSW 5 to 10 kt in the morning. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Patchy fog between 9am and 10am. Seas around 1 ft.

Wednesday Night: SW wind around 8 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog between 2am and 3am, then Patchy fog between 4am and 5am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: SSW wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10am. Seas 1 ft or less.
